The highest quality shingles in the
world.
At Vancouver Island Shingle we make the best Cedar shingles available.
We have a small "Mom and Pop" operation, where the focus is not on making a lot of shingles, but making the finest quality possible.
If you are shopping for cedar roofing shingles then you’re interested in having the best quality, a durable and attractive finish. Why, then, would you accept inferior products?
Western Red Cedar is the best raw material for roofing, it is light weight, provides excellent heat and sound insulation, excellent reflectivity, and is resistant to rot and decay.
It is also easy to install, is very durable and provides an attractive finish.
Plus, wood is the only environmentally sound choice for roofing.
It is the only product which is renewable.
The product we make is 100% two pack, a maximum of two shingles per row in a 20” wide frame. No other mills produce shingles with
this large average size.
It is not available anywhere else in the world.
Of course every mill makes this claim, but we invite you to actually come to the mill and see for yourself, whether you are a professional roofer, remanufacturer or a home-owner, we welcome you to inspect the shingles and we are sure we will become your preferred supplier.
